RUN by Gregg Olsen:

I was given a proof copy of this book and it's so catching that I finished it in a matter of days!

The story follows 15 year old Rylee- smart, seemingly ruthless, and  un-trusting.
One day Rylee comes home to find her father murdered and her mother gone. So she takes her rather adorable younger brother and runs. The book is centered around her search for her mother, the truth, and why her family has been on the run for as long as she remembers, moving and changing identity, hiding from someone, or something.
Who is after them? Why? Where is her mother? Can she find her before it's to late?

So, this book is a real page turner- I just couldn't put it down! There are twists and turns that you don't see coming and some really heart stopping moments. There is never a dull page and I think you get to see a lot of development with Rylee, she grows up a lot from the gripping start to the totally I-didn't-see-that-coming ending.

A road trip of lies, unbearable truths, brutality and mortal danger.
